How to convert FLAC to MP3
- Drop your FLAC file on the box above, or tap it to choose. You can pick several files at once.
- MP3 is already selected. Adjust the quality if you like (192 kbps is a good default, 320 kbps for the best quality).
- Tap the download button next to each file. Your MP3 is saved to your Downloads folder.
FLAC sounds great but many phones, cars and apps can’t play it and the files are big. Convert to a 320 kbps MP3 that plays anywhere.

Frequently asked questions
Will I hear a difference between FLAC and a 320 kbps MP3?
Most people can't in normal listening. Keep the FLAC as your master copy and use the MP3 for portable players.
Do hi-res FLAC files work?
Yes. 24-bit and 88.2/96/192 kHz FLAC files are decoded, and the MP3 is made at 48 kHz (the highest rate MP3 allows).
Are the tags (artist, title, cover) copied?
Not yet. The audio is converted; tags and cover art are not carried over.
Can I convert several files at once?
Yes. Choose or drop as many files as you like. They are converted one after another and each gets its own download button.
Are my files uploaded?
No. The conversion runs inside your browser on your own device. Your audio is never sent to a server, so it works with private and unreleased recordings.
Is it really free?
Yes. No sign-up, no watermark, no daily limit. Very long files (over about an hour) may be too big for a phone's memory.
